Charles Alan Brown

On the morning of August 23, 2006, Charles A. Brown
died. Most people never knew him by this name and only knew him as Alan
Brown. Many people never met him, but those lucky enough to have met him
never forgot him.
Alan began at Haynes sometime during the ‘70s and
continued until his retirement in 1999. During this time, he held many positions
necessary to run an ambulance service. To him, there was no such comment as
“That’s not my job”. While most people met him after he became General
Manger of Haynes Ambulance, Alan was an EMT-I, dispatcher, truck washer,
and mechanic. Alan was also the inspiration for the future managers of
Haynes Ambulance.
Alan leaves behind his wife, Veeta,
children, Matthew, Meagan, and Michael, and a host of other relatives.
